Title: Event Coordinator
Job Status: Full time 38.75 Hours per Week
The Events Coordinator reporting to the Executive Director, will provide leadership in the planning, coordination, and evaluation of Medicine Hat & District Health Foundation’s fund raising events and annual fund raising activities.
Oversee the successful planning and execution of signature events and donor engagement events;
Work with Foundation leadership and event volunteers, where applicable, to set a vision and plan for events;
Acts as a point of contact with external event representatives, corporate sponsorships liaisons, and internal and external stakeholders;
Prepare detailed event logistics plan, production plan, and event itinerary for each event; including event evaluation and overall event strategy.
Seek to improve donor/sponsor relationships, cultivation and stewardship through regular and appropriate communications.
Contribute to the development and implementation of a comprehensive operational plan and budget for the Foundation and evaluate donor engagement and event priorities to ensure success.
Develop and manage budget and day-to-day operations supporting stewardship and event planning functions including regular gaming activities.
Play an active role in building the strategy for securing annual donations
Responsible for planning and implementing semi-annual direct mail appeals
Seek creative ways to keep the program moving in a forward direction
Report on outcomes both financial and donor reports
